Southampton Factory Clearance
Project Details
Our team was commissioned by a landlord in Southampton after one of their commercial tenants unexpectedly vacated the premises, leaving behind an estimated £100,000 worth of high-quality office furniture. The inventory included new items, discontinued product lines and customer returns from several leading market brands.
Following the initial enquiry, we promptly arranged a comprehensive two-hour site survey. During this visit our specialists carefully inspected the entire stock, assessing its condition and identifying pieces that required sorting or further processing. Because a proportion of the furniture showed signs of heavy damage, we prepared a detailed plan to separate salvageable assets from items destined for recycling.
After presenting our valuation and proposal, the landlord accepted our offer within days. The following week our clearance crew arrived on site at 8 a.m. with an articulated lorry to begin the removal. Over the course of four consecutive days, the team coordinated a large-scale operation involving four 45-foot articulated lorry loads supplemented by multiple Luton vans. Every item was handled systematically to maximise efficiency, protect reusable furniture and maintain health-and-safety standards.
Project Outcome
From the initial site survey to the final uplift, the entire project was completed in under 14 days. The landlord was delighted with the speed and professionalism of the service, as well as the substantial volume of furniture we were able to purchase and remove. Our efficient clearance not only freed the property for immediate re-letting but also ensured that all reusable items were responsibly redistributed or recycled.
