Phones and mobile devices. Smartphones and feature phones, boxed or unboxed, new or returned.
Tablets and laptops. Consumer tablets and laptops, including overstock and returned units.

Mixed lots are fine, and stock does not need to be in perfect working condition. If you are clearing business IT instead, servers, networking, or a fleet of office computers and monitors, we buy that separately.

Before devices leave your control, remove personal data from phones and tablets, contacts, accounts, and stored logins, in line with UK GDPR. The business disposing of the stock remains the data controller, so this sits with you, as the Information Commissioner’s Office sets out. Raise any specific requirements at the enquiry stage.

Stock we buy is resold through Enviro Stock, our own trade site, not fed back into your retail or wholesale channels, so it does not undercut your stockists. For brand-sensitive lines, tell us your constraints early.

Environmentally responsible

Surplus electronics do not need to become waste. Stock we buy is resold into the trade or repurposed rather than sent to landfill, a cleaner outcome than disposal and easier to account for in sustainability reporting.

For stock that is genuinely at end of life and cannot be resold, UK electrical waste falls under producer responsibility rules in the WEEE Regulations. That is a separate route from the commercial resale of working surplus.

If the offer works for you, confirm and we move to the next step. There is no obligation and no hidden deductions after the fact. What we agree is what you receive.

We arrange collection or delivery

Our team books a collection at a time that suits you, and we can collect within 48 hours of offer acceptance. If delivery works better on your end, we can discuss that too.

You receive payment

How quickly will I get a valuation for my stock?

Usually the same day or within 24 hours of you first getting in touch. A large or complex inventory, or a mixed lot needing itemising, can take two to three days. If you have a deadline, tell us and we will work to it.

What happens to my stock after you buy it?

We take it in, hold it, and resell it through our sister site Enviro Stock, which sells to trade buyers. It does not go back into your own retail or wholesale channels, so your short-dated lines do not resurface at a discount next to your full-price stock.

Is there a minimum quantity of food and drink stock you’ll buy?

No. We buy from single pallets up to full warehouse clearances, and mixed lots are welcome. Some buyers in this market set minimum thresholds per line or per order. We do not, so it is worth asking us even if the quantity feels small.

Do you buy label-change or mislabelled stock?

Yes. Label-change and mislabelled stock covers packaging, recipe, or label updates that leave existing stock unsellable through your usual retail channels, even though the product itself is fine. We buy it, collect it, and resell it through Enviro Stock rather than back into your own channels.

Where can I sell short-dated or surplus food and drink stock?

Enviro Clear buys short-dated and surplus food and drink stock directly from UK businesses. We purchase short-dated, label-change, end-of-line, overstock, and surplus food and drink stock from manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, and insolvency practitioners. We buy the stock ourselves rather than broker it on, so you deal with one party from enquiry to payment.

Do you buy food and drink past its best before date?

Yes, in many cases. A best before date is about quality, not safety, so food past this date remains legally sellable if it is still of good quality, fit to eat, and accurately described. A use by date is different. It is a hard safety cut-off, and it is a criminal offence to sell food past its use by date, so we do not buy or resell stock past its use by date.
