Two date markings apply under the UK Cosmetics Regulation. A product with a shelf life of 30 months or less carries a best before date, and a product that lasts longer carries the period after opening symbol instead. Every product also carries a batch number so it can be traced. Sharing the dating and batch details up front helps us make an offer quickly.

Condition affects the valuation but does not prevent purchase. A general safety duty applies whatever the date, so for stock near or past its best before, get in touch and we will talk it through.

Whatever we buy is resold through Enviro Stock, our own trade site, not fed back into your retail or wholesale channels. For brand-sensitive stock, particularly premium cosmetics, we can agree debranding, distribution restrictions, or export-only arrangements before terms.

How quickly will I get a valuation for my stock?

Usually the same day or within 24 hours of you first getting in touch. A large or mixed lot needing itemising can take two to three days. If you have a deadline, tell us and we will work to it.

Do you buy supplements as well as cosmetics and toiletries?

Yes. Alongside cosmetics, skincare, haircare, and toiletries, we buy vitamins, minerals, and food supplements. It helps to know where your product sits, since supplements, cosmetics, and products presented for medicinal use are treated differently under UK rules. The MHRA decides whether a product is classed as a medicine, so tell us what you have and we will assess it.

Is there a minimum quantity of health and beauty stock you’ll buy?

No. We buy from single pallets up to full warehouse clearances, and mixed lots are welcome. Some buyers in this market set minimum thresholds per line or per order. We do not, so it is worth asking us even if the quantity feels small.
